We offer a complete design and build package for customers looking to have plans drawn up, submitted, and work carried out such as home extensions, garages and new builds, all under the umbrella of one company.
Working in conjunction with a local Leicester architect whom we have a longstanding working relationship with, we first discuss with the client their ideas and particular requirements, as well as their budget, then alongside our architect, supply drawings for outline planning permission application, along with a written estimate for completion of works. We also guide the client through the planning process with the local authority.
The main benefit of working this way is that the client will be assured that the finished designs are achievable within their working budget, and also that the contractor is ready to proceed immediately once planning permission is granted. It also makes the whole process much less complicated and stressful by only having one port of contact to liaise with during the pricing and planning stage.
Also, should the client wish to proceed with another contractor after the planning application, they are not tied in or obligated to any additional fees or charges with ourselves, and the drawings are their property to use as they see fit.
We offer a design to completion service for kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, which includes complete supply and labour costings, and 3D renderings of proposed layouts. All such design work work is free of charge and comes with no obligation to buy.
We offer a 2D garden design service for clients looking to redevelop the front or rear outside space of their homes. Garden design services can include items such as patios, driveways, garden walls, raised borders, and garden structures such as garden rooms or pergolas.
All proposed large openings in new structures, or wall removals in existing properties, require load bearing calculations to be conducted, to determine dimensions and specifications of steelwork to be used to support the structure above. This is also a part of the building process we take care of on the customers behalf, working with local structural engineers to supply all relevant designs.
